What is this tool?
A repair order form that lives in your browser, not your DMS's server room. Fill it out, preview it, print it or save it as a PDF. Zero setup, zero login, zero drama when your DMS decides to take a nap.
Who is this for?
You. The service advisor or shop manager holding the counter together while the DMS is off having a nap. The one who actually runs the show, ticket after ticket, system up or down.
Is there a catch?
No paywall, no signup, no upsell buried in the fine print. It's a repair order form, not a sales funnel.
What does the completed repair order look like?
It matches the layout of a typical shop repair order intake sheet — vehicle info, dates, status, a large area for line items, and an estimate/signature block. You can see a blank PDF or a sample filled-out PDF before you start.
Do I need to install anything?
Nope. If you can open a browser tab, you can write up a repair order.
Is any of my data saved or sent anywhere?
Nope. No login, no database, no server quietly filing away what you typed. It lives in your browser and forgets everything the moment you close the tab — unless you tell it to remember.
What does "Save draft locally" actually do?
It stores your in-progress form in your browser's local storage, on that device only. That means you can close the tab, restart your browser, or come back later, and your information is still there when you reopen the form on that same device — nothing is lost. It's never uploaded anywhere. Click "Clear saved data" at any time to remove it.
How do I fill out a new repair order after finishing one?
Enter the info, then download the PDF (or print it) to keep your copy. Once it's saved, click "Clear saved data" to wipe the form back to blank, and you're ready to start the next repair order.
What if the internet goes down too?
Then we can't work miracles. But the second it's just your DMS that's down and the internet's fine, you're covered — the form runs entirely in your browser once the page has loaded.
Can my whole team use it at the same time?
Yes. Every advisor's form lives only in their own browser — no shared login, no "someone else is editing this," no waiting in line.
What's the difference between the Standard and DCGroup versions?
Same fields, different styling. The Standard version is plain and unbranded. The DCGroup version is restyled with DCGroup branding.
How do I get a PDF?
Use the "Download PDF" button to generate a file directly on your device, or click "Print" and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog. Both happen entirely on your device.
Does this replace my dealership's DMS?
No. It's a convenience utility for producing a repair order when your primary system is unavailable, not a replacement for your DMS, accounting system, or recordkeeping process.
Is this affiliated with any dealer management system provider?
No. This tool is built and operated independently by DCGroup and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any DMS provider.
